As a result of my post on Trump I was accosted by rabid fundamentalists on a blog who called me a liar and said I'm a "leftist" (which I am but that's not the point). On of them made a list of things why he would absolutely never vote democrat again, he said it's a sin! why? because they disarmed America,
I think the evangelicals have for gotten that the Gospel is about Jesus they think it's about bemg a republican.
PL, there is no such thing as "voting for the man, not the party". When you "vote for the man", you are *always* voting for the party.Since the Democrats are the party of, non-exhaustively:
1) murdering babies;2) disarming law-abiding citizens;
3) protecting violent criminals from justice;
4) destroying all organic social counters to the Leviathan State;
5) undermining paternal authority;
6) promoting short-sighted female revolt against paternal authority;
7) knee-capping our allies while propping up our foes;
8) ultimately, destroying not only our polity but our very civilization;
to vote for *any* Democrat is to vote for all of that and more.
Now, of course, a lot of Republican politician are also on board with all that. But, the Republican "base" is not (which is why the term 'RINO' exists) for that, whereas the Democratic "base" is.

But it's not true that "every scientists" predicts that -- I know many who remain intensely skeptical of the doom-and-gloom predictions. They may be wrong, but you badly overspoke.
Nor have I heard any Republican candidate say "It's fine to keep polluting, "which is a completely separate issue from AGW.

We had an exchange bout Rubio. I said I heard him say he would abolish EPA. I could not defend it prompt so I got official campaign literature. It listed his official position. It did not say he would abolish EPA but it did say he would roll back regs on air and water pollution in a big way. They said I was a liar because I didn't quote him. His campaign lit is not good enough! They quoted nothing but said I was dishonest because I was ranting since I did not have any evidence. In reality I quoted Rubio twice in log passages and I had evidence they had none. They quoted nothing,
We got into a thing when I said the Bible says God is on the side of the poor he said that was absurd no passage says that and he called me "covetous" because I am coveting the wealth. How I'm coveting wealth I want to give it to other people I don't know. I put up the 50 passages I put up here the other day (Bible Government,Poor) and He said nothing abouit them hyie said this:

I said nothing bout wealth being bad. I want the rich to pay their fair share (see the pie chart up top) not to take it all away from them. I've seen this tendency before of people who were poor to hate reformers and refuse to make the rich pay their fair share., I think it's because they think they are getting closer to wealth and they want it the gravy. But I'm Covetous.

I thought Grace was a great thing, a result of God's love. But that was that whossy Jesus. now we have general Jesus and lots of guns.
