We have to beat this Tax scam now today! the Votes today,It was going to pass yesterday and thank God (answer to my prayer) some deficit Hawks started making noise,
The bill will raise the deficit a trillion dollars then hope that it stimulates growth and we out grow, When has outgrowing the deficit ever worked? That's a huge gamble, If it doesn't work it will take down medicaid and other social programs, Riders in back that will destroy Obama care, it also has riders that destroy public lands, This is the most important thing the resistance can do,please stop everything NOW and call, share this with everyone.

KR, I agree with you. That idea is a lot easier to make sense of, however, when the evil intent that God allows affects only the people with that evil motive, as opposed to this tax bill where millions of innocent people will be harmed. It can be made sense of, imo, but it's trickier.

Joe, I think 7th Stooge is speaking in terms of the doctrine of suffering. Why does God allow the powerful to harm the weak? Why does he allow us, when going our own way against His counsel, to have our actions harm others? Not sure this is the place to go into all that, but I don't see this instance as different from any others.

I think it can be made sense of, but it's more difficult to justify, especially to the non-believer, than the idea that God allows evil only insofar as the people perpetrating the evil are harmed.
