I think they were hacked. I don't know how to tell, but they are gone. No one can do anything. I am considering what to do. Anyone who was posting on those boards as a regular keep in touch with me through this blog for now.
That's the URL, but each URL has an IP address. For example: google.com can be any of the following: 72.14.204.147 or 72.14.204.99 or 72.14.204.103 or 72.14.204.104. Copy and paste any of those in your browser and you get google.com. My server, merelyadequate.net, has only one IP address which is 76.188.78.16.
In windows you can open a command prompt and type nslookup google.com and hit enter and you will see the IP addresses. If you do the same for doxa.ws you get nothing. doxa.ws is the root domain of doxa.ws/forum.
This can mean one of two things. One, the server is down either physically or having software issues. Two, the DNS (domain name server) isn't telling our web browsers where doxa.ws/forums is. If we knew the IP address we could type it followed by "/forums" and get to the forums if they are up. So say the IP address was 96.8.246.157. We could type 96.8.246.157/forum in a browser and it would work in place of doxa.ws/forum.
At the Internet Archive Wayback Machine you can access older versions of sites that have been archived there. The pages are all static, so you can't use forums and whatnot, but it does retain a lot of content.

The server isn't responding to anything, though I can't find out what IP address it's supposed to have. Seems to be hosted at GoDaddy.
all I know is it was doxa.ws/forum.

I know what IP addresses are. I just don't know what to do with them.
There is also Sense of the Numinous if you want to use it.
man, that sucks. I tried going to the main site and I can't access that either.
doxa is gone too! I don't think it's just the server. I think someone is actually trying to take down my ideas.
Tiny, good point. go ahead and take it out of moth balls.
funny thing I was accessing Doxa today, funny thing it goes down just as i get into debate with an atheist where I really need my stuff on Doxa.
God must want you to wing it. ;-)
