Hey, you have a great blog here! I am definitely going to bookmark you!

I have a chocolate birthday gift site. It is an online shop that has lots of chocolate birthday gift items available.

Come by and check it out if you have time :-)

Surely you are a member of a local church. I've never seen a church that won't help a congregant find some sort of housing even if it's renting a bedroom. You might even be able to help out some elderly person by renting from them.

savemybrother.com is not working right now. it's just one of those "coming soon" pages.

you don't have to shut your blog down because of the transition you face.

move to berkeley, CA! it's very academic and you would fit right in.

we can problaby find some place to go, at least for an interum. But I just can't stand losign the old family homestead when we have so much equity in it.

You must have some spare rooms, rent them out. Get some professional help putting a financial plan together and present it to your church and creditors. Ask for some financial assistance from your church until you can find renters and/or implement your financial plan.

J.L. Hinman said...

everybody's bot a plan. Everybody knows what's best. I want to find out what people imagine chruches will do for you?

we don't have spare rooms.

If you are not trying to change your financial situation what do you expect others to do for you? Will you be in the same situation a month from now? a year from now? What are you doing to change it?

J.L. Hinman said...

what eveidence do you have that I"m not trying to "change my fananical sitution?" YOu said go to chruches and renet out rooms.
i have a room rented out, chruches don't help people.

neither of those will get me the 9,000

J.L. Hinman said...

what do I expect others to do for me? Nothing. Obviosly. that's why I said "if you don't want to give me anyting don't worry about it."

I didn't say you weren't trying. I just asked what your plan was. But I'm sure you understand people work hard for the money they earn to pay bills, keep a roof overhead, raise families, support the church, many have little left over. Should they decide to give it to you, it helps to know that you are working hard to fix your financial troubles, that's all. The churches generally DO help. I've never known a church that doesn't help unless someone is unwilling to work when they are able. But that is the exception not the rule.

that saga just keeps on going huh? .... i hope you make it somehow, hope you end up keeping your house; if not, i hope you end up in a better situation despite it all .... sorry if we haven't been able help you very much finacially, we're basically dirtpoor ourselves this year and last. so all we really do is cheer for you

You don't owe me anything. I am very grateful to everyone for trying to help.

Sorry I mentioned it, I just thought I'd take one last stab. Of cousre it didn't work, because nothing does. I almost has the solution but the money just get to me in time and then we went into forclosure.

That's the story of my life. But I do appreaciate everyone who trired to help.

Wow, did I deserve that? How do you know what I struggle with? Do you think you're the only one that's got problems? Fyi, I know what it's like to be unemployed for years with precious little money coming in. But I did something about it besides blaming everyone else for my money troubles.

J.L. Hinman said...

did you just say that I'm in this spot because I was layzy and didn't work hard?

J.L. Hinman said...

I have withdrawn my answer. I apologize. I guess I was being too touchy. No you dont' derserve it. Please forgive me.

Hey Meta. Sorry to hear that. I hope things get better and I'll be looking for the Metacrock in the future. Though by the time I'm in grad school you'll be around your mid-50s and who knows what will happen.

You've given me a few interesting things to think about, and I appreciate it. If not in this life, I'll catch up with you in the next.
