At the “Faith & Freedom Coalition” conference early this month Trump advisor pastor Robert Jeffress warned evangelicals not to be “fooled” when Democratic 2020 presidential candidates talk about their faith.
He went on to say the Democratic Party is a “godless” organization that promotes policies that are “completely antithetical to the Christian faith. When they talk about God, they are not talking about the real God — the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the God who revealed Himself in the Bible,” Jeffress stated. “These liberal Democrats are talking about an imaginary God they have created in their own minds: a god who loves abortion and hates Israel.”
We’ve heard these horrific lies for decades. We finally got tired of it and started this ministry and community in 2009.

“Christianity” in the US has been usurped by right-wing extremists and converted into a Republican political lobby. Its objectives have nothing to do with anything Jesus taught. Jesus is supposed to be the center of Christianity. Among his core instructions is care for “the least of these.” In Matthew 25: 31-46 he says how we treat the least of these is literally how we treat him.
As a society we treat the least of these horribly. We blame them, we scapegoat them, we abuse them, we ignore them, we enslave them, we oppress them and we take advantage of them. The bottom line is that is how we’re treating Jesus as well.
Modern republican ideology is the law of the jungle. You’re on your own. Good luck. The strongest and the fittest shall survive and thrive.
That’s sick and wrong, and it’s in direct opposition to everything Jesus taught. These things have needed to be said for decades. It’s finally happening.

Just don't criticize them or they will ban you. I was a member and criticized a particularly mean post about George W. Bush and they banned me for it. I wasn't rude, I just pointed out that the post didn't seem very Christlike.
I read a book called "Left, Right and Christ." Very informative. It made me realize how much I disagreed with the Christian Right's way of reading scripture. Now I'd call myself "Christian Left" too.

I notice they are very touchy about criticism.
